Each year, the South Dakota FFA Association elects a six-member student officer team. These members travel the state meeting FFA members, putting on leadership workshops and conducting the business of the state association.

National Officers serve the organization in a local, state, national, and international capacity. They inform, motivate and inspire FFA members, advisors, state staff, teachers and other to achieve the mission, strategies, and core goals of the organization.
